Senior Joiner

The role is primarily to produce high quality traditional joinery to specification. As second-in-command to the Managing, the successful candidate will also be expected to visit clients or potential client sites, and produce quotations as required.

Responsibilities:
* Day to day operation of joinery machinery and tools
* Production of bespoke joinery through from interpretation of drawings to final product
* Own health and safety and that of co-workers
* Acting as backup to Managing Director and deputising for him in his absence
* Reporting progress and problems encountered by himself and others to the Managing Director
* Suggesting improvements to processes
* Bringing any health and safety problems or shortfalls to the attention of management
* Possible site visits to meet clients and potential clients, measure for jobs and produce quotations

Experience
* Minimum 10 years experience using usual machinery
* Must have taken jobs through from drawing to completion
* Operated usual joinery machinery

* Ability to discuss requirements with clients and produce appropriate solutions and accurate quotations
* Consultative attitude
* Team worker

Salary: Negotiable

We are currently looking for Labourers to put on our temp / perm books in preperation for future roles.

Experience preferable and Steel Toecaps essential.
